Meet Our Staff

General Dentistry

After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois with a B.S. in finance, Dr. Wu obtained a Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He completed his General Dental Residency program at the University of California in Los Angeles in advanced dental studies. Dr. Wu especially enjoys working with children and is certified in Invisalign cosmetic orthodontics.

His hobbies include traveling, golf and supporting all our hometown sports teams.

Endodontics

Dr. Sarraf received his D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston and completed his Endodontic Residency at Temple University. With a background in radiology and general dentistry, Dr. Sarraf is a tremendous asset to our practice. We know you will appreciate his excellent clinical skills along with his affable, upbeat personality. Dr. Sarraf grew up in Springfield, Missouri and enjoys mountain biking and snowboarding in his spare time

Periodontist

Dr. Gabriel Boustani attended Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree graduating with honors, his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Periodontology, as well as a Masters of Science in Dentistry.

In 2008, Dr. Boustani became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a designation appointed to those who make significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty.

Since 2001, Dr. Boustani's practice has been limited to Periodontics, which focuses on the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of periodontal disease as well as implant dentistry. His professional affiliations include memberships in the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, and the Academy of Osseointegration.

Dr. Boustani practices at several dental offices in the Boston area. His interest in dental education has resulted in him taking extensive continuing education around the world.

Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Jerry Swee has recently joined Emerson Dental, PC as a Specialist in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Swee was born in Long Beach, CA. He now resides in Charlestown with his wife, Sandra.

Dr. Swee completed his Pediatric Residency at Tufts Dental School in 2011. He received his undergraduate degree from UCLA in Micro Biology and Molecular Genetics. He also holds a Masters degree in Oral Biology. Dr. Swee graduated from Tufts Dental School in 2005 and then worked for the State of Tennesee Department of Public Health Dentistry until deciding to specialize in Pediatrics.

Pegi is a graduate of Forsyth School for Dental Hygiene and Northeastern University as well as NE Metropolitan Vocational School.  She began her career as a board certified dental assistant working in a variety of settings including pedodontics, orthodontics and general and prosthetic dentistry.

Wanting to work more closely with patients she made the decision to attend hygiene school.  Pegi's special interest is in working with patients who have periodontal disease and also patients with dental anxiety and phobia.  She has expanded her education by taking courses in relaxation/hypnosis techniques to assist patients in overcoming their fears along with advanced courses in periodontal instrumentation and treatment.

Donna is a graduate of Forsyth School for Dental Hygiene and the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.  She has been working in the dental field since 1998.  Donna started working as a clinical assistant before deciding on a career in Dental Hygiene.  She has furthered her education with practical training in the administration of local anesthesia.

Donna enjoys working with children and adolescents to promote a lifetime of oral health.
